How pricing works
Almost all charters in Dubai are priced by the hour, with a minimum booking that is usually two hours, rising to three or four hours on weekends and popular sunset slots. The headline number you see is the hourly rate for the whole boat, not per person, so splitting it across a group brings the cost per head down considerably.
What drives the price
The biggest factor is the yacht itself: size, age, condition and how premium the interior is. A smaller boat for a couple sits at the affordable end, while superyachts with multiple decks and a flybridge command far more. Timing matters too, with weekends, holidays, sunset hours and event weekends such as New Year and F1 pushing rates up and availability down.
What is usually included
A typical rate includes the fully licensed captain and crew, fuel for the standard cruising route, drinking water, soft drinks and ice, towels, a sound system and the required safety equipment. This is the baseline experience: a private, crewed cruise along the coast. It is worth confirming the exact inclusions for your chosen yacht when you book.
What costs extra
The add-ons are where budgets grow. Catering, a bar, birthday or wedding decor, a DJ, a photographer, a jet ski and other water toys are all paid extras arranged on top of the charter. A longer route or extra hours will add to the rate too. Deciding which extras you actually want is the easiest way to control the final figure.
